Ergo Therapy Group - Occupational Therapy in Melbourne
At Ergo Therapy Group, we are passionate about helping our clients achieve their goals and become more independent.
We are a team of dedicated occupational therapists that bring occupational therapy to you as we understand it can be hard to get out. We specialise in working with clients of all ages, who are dealing with a range of disabilities, illnesses, and injuries. 
We believe that occupational therapy is a powerful tool in helping people of all ages reach their full potential in life which is why we work closely with each of our clients to identify and address their individual needs.

Our goal is to help our patients develop the skills they need to participate in meaningful activities and gain a sense of accomplishment. We provide a comprehensive range of services to ensure that the individuals we work with can live life to the fullest.

Meet The Team

Michael Tsiodras

Occupational Therapist

Michael is a Senior Occupational Therapist who has worked with complex participant in the mental health, physical health and paediatric space, completing assessments including Supported Independent Living, Specialist Disability Accommodation, Complex Home Modifications, Assistive Technology, Functional Capacity, and Paediatric Functional Capacity assessments. Michael provides support to participants of all ages and diagnosis to build capacity in line with their goals.

Michael also serves as a clinical supervisor at Ergo Therapy Group providing guidance to OTs to help them excel and achieve their full potential in their OT roles. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an active sports follower.

Kevin Lim

Occupational Therapist

Kevin, originally from Malaysia, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from La Trobe University. With over a year of experience in the NDIS community space, Kevin is passionate about working with individuals across all age ranges who present with various health conditions. His primary interests lie in Exploring Assistive Technology, Psychosocial support, and Routine Building for adults. Kevin is dedicated to supporting participants in maximizing their daily independence and skill-building efforts.
 
His expertise encompasses adult functional assessments, Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments, and promoting Mental Health Awareness among participants. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys engaging in sports such as badminton, basketball, and tennis, as well as exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with friends. Kevin is fluent in Mandarin and Hokkien (a Chinese dialect), hailing from Malaysia.

Li (Lia) Yuxuan

Occupational Therapist

Lia graduated from Monash University with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. Her experience includes working with adults to conduct functional assessments, home modifications, and paediatric care. Lia is passionate about enhancing individuals’ well-being and supporting their journey toward improved functionality and independence.
 
Originally from China, Lia is fluent in both Mandarin and English. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys practicing Pilates and hiking, finding balance and inspiration in these activities.

Marfin Dela Pena

Occupational Therapist

Marfin is a dynamic occupational therapist with a multifaceted background that spans across different clinical practice settings. Having obtained a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, Marfin embarked on a journey of continuous learning and growth. His thirst for knowledge led him to attain a Master's degree in Business Management from the University of the Philippines-Manila, enhancing his skill set and preparing him for leadership roles in the field.

Marfin's approach to occupational therapy is characterised by innovation, compassion, and a deep understanding of individual needs. His diverse background equips him with a unique perspective, enabling him to tailor interventions that empower clients to achieve their fullest potential. With a blend of clinical expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for exploration, Marfin continues to make a positive impact in the field of occupational therapy.

Georgia Gourdouros

Occupational Therapist

Georgia graduated from Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. Georgia is passionate about assisting people to work towards their goals and improve their quality of life. In her role, her experience includes working with adults to complete functional assessments, home modifications and assistive technology prescription. Georgia is fluent in Greek and English and enjoys making a difference in the Greek community. In her spare time, she likes listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

Molly Johnson

Occupational Therapist

Molly was born and raised in New Zealand, graduating from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy). She enjoys empowering people of all ages and backgrounds who have a range of needs, to participate in the things that bring meaning to their daily lives.  

 

Molly has worked as an occupational therapist in homelessness, secondary education, and with youth and families in the community. 

 

Outside of work, Molly enjoys working on creative projects, writing, recording and performing music, connecting with loved ones and connecting with nature.

Anthony Chan

Occupational Therapist

Anthony graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). He is dedicated to helping people achieve greater independence and supporting their overall well-being. His experience includes working with adults on functional assessment and rehabilitation, as well as paediatric occupational therapy, where he collaborates closely with families to provide tailored training for children with special needs. Originally from Hong Kong, Anthony is fluent in Cantonese, Chinese, and English. Outside of work, he enjoys playing badminton, board games, and watching movies with friends.

Amy Smith

Occupational Therapist

I graduated from Swinburne University with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. My passion lies in enabling individuals of all ages to live fulfilling lives, aiding them in accomplishing their goals, and improving their overall quality of life. When I'm not working as an occupational therapist, you'll find me on the AFLW field with North Melbourne. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.

Maame Dompreh

Occupational Therapist

My name is Maame living on Wurundjeri Willum land (Naarm). I have a passion for helping people and doing my job, I love my job and all the clients I work with on a daily basis. I love working with anyone ranging from 8- 65 and even the elderly population. I have worked in Paediatrics and Adults. My areas of speciality are sensory processing, emotional regulation, travel training and developing of independent living skills. I also enjoy working with individuals who have early-onset Alzheimer's and dementia. I love cooking, dancing, painting and spending time with my family and friends.

Evangeline Metaxas

Admin

Evangeline works as the administrative assistant at Ergo Therapy Group. She studied a Bachelor of Psychological Science minoring in Youth Work and is also currently working as a Behavioural Therapist supporting children with ASD, ADHD and other developmental learning difficulties. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and going out with friends.
